It is charged as a subscription with new content updated regularly. Pay as you go and cancel anytime.

Binge Free Academy is for someone who finds they overeat often (even when they try their best not to), someone who struggles with binge, emotional or secret eating but wants to feel relaxed around food again. It is structured as an online program and once you pay (either once-off or via 3 x monthly installments) you get access to the content for the life of the program.

If you find it tough to be consistent, then Back to Basics is going to really help you there.

If you struggle with binge/emotional eating then doing Binge Free Academy will help you develop that healthy relationship with food that underpins everything.

Back to Basics is a great companion to Binge Free Academy, providing an awesome library of shoppable recipes, workouts, mindset, and meal prep videos that you can access via our app.
In my opinion, meal plans and other health programs totally miss the mark. They tell you what to eat instead of teaching you HOW to eat and make you feel guilty for not being perfect.

They sell you ‘health’ with before and after photos which reinforces that you’re only as worthy as the size of your pants.

So I had to do some serious work to think up Back to Basics… It had to be different. The aim was to give you enough guidance and inspiration to make it easy and doable – while ensuring total flexibility and freedom from rules. It’s a tricky tightrope but I think I’ve done exactly that with Back to Basics.

Back to Basics has got everything to do with saving you time in the kitchen and helping you cook food your family actually like and nothing to do with bikini bodies or restriction.

Back to Basics teaches you how to make healthy living doable. It shows you that you can eat carbohydrates and be healthy… that you don’t need to fear any foods or go on a diet to feel good. That ‘perfect eating’ is over-rated and unnecessary.

Back to Basics helps you unlearn all the diet nonsense and gives you the confidence to become a normal, healthy eater. The goal is that after using Back to Basics, you can go do your own thing because you realise it isn’t complicated after all.

If you want to be told what to eat, when and how much – there are plenty of diets out there.

But if you want:

  • to eat healthily without guilt
  • to be inspired with smart, easy and shoppable recipes that take the guesswork out of family dinners
  • have access to an awesome variety of on-demand workouts, suitable for all fitness levels with no equipment needed
  • an alternative to takeaway dinners
  • learn how to meal prep like a pro and impress your friends and family
  • to learn to move for fun + eat to feel good

….then Back to Basics is for you.
No. Meal plans are diets in disguise, which is why you can never stick to them. Back to Basics has a fully customisable weekly planner. I’ll help give structure to your eating without it being prescriptive. You won’t have to waste time looking for recipes and writing out shopping lists – but you’ll still have plenty of flexibility. It’s the best of both worlds.
All recipes in Back to Basics are shoppable. This means, with the click of a button, you can add all the ingredients to a shopping list that is integrated with your online supermarket cart. You can easily swap out ingredients or brands to suit your taste and budget.

Delivery is handled directly by the supermarkets.

No way, my friend! Back to Basics helps you make easy, fuss-free, family-friendly food. I’ve balanced the recipes to give you a healthy mix of nutrients and help you all feel satisfied. I’ve also suggested ways to serve the recipes so both little ones and adults can enjoy.

You can customise Back to Basics to your preferences. Vegetarian or Pescatarian? No problem – we have you covered.

We’ve loaded heaps of vegetarian and pescatarian recipes into Back to Basics and you can easily filter recipes based on your preferences.

I’m constantly adding new vegetarian recipes so you won’t feel like you’re missing out. I also suggest easy ways to swap out meat in recipes (and I don’t just recommend tofu!)

Most of the recipes are naturally gluten-free (by chance). You can also easily filter recipes that are gluten-free. For recipes that are not naturally gluten-free, I’ve suggested an easy swap to make the recipe gluten-free.

Yes, yes and yes. You can print, email and save your favourite recipes with a click of a button.

You sure can! They’re high-quality videos that are smartly optimised for you to watch on the go or cast to your TV.

For sure. When you create your shopping list, you can easily swap out ingredients for a different brand or choose an ingredient to fit your budget or preferences.

You bet! All the workouts can be done from your home, no equipment needed. You don’t need any fancy kitchen equipment either. It’s designed especially for busy people.
