Sticky Date Porridge

Enjoy the goodness of oats with your favourite desert flavours. This is delicious and healthy comfort food. If you don’t have pecans, try it with other chopped nuts. It’ll still taste great. You can use normal oats or cut oats. Just cook it for 1-2 minutes more if it needs.

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup milk (of choice. I like dairy)
  • 2 dates, pitted and chopped
  • 2 tsp nut butter (e.g. peanut, almond etc)
  • 1/3 cup plain rolled oats
  • 1/4 cup pecans, chopped
  • pinch of cinnamon

Instructions:

  • 1.Place all ingredients ina small saucepan over medium heat. Cook for 3-5 minutes until cooked to desired thickness.
