Chilli Garlic Green Beans

Very easy!


  • 1 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil
  • brown onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves of garlic, chopped
  • 1-2 red chilli, chopped
  • 2 tsp of lemon zest
  • 400g (14oz) green beans, ends trimmed
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • Toasted sesame seeds


  • 1.Heat a wok or fry pan over medium-high heat. Add olive oil, onion, garlic, lemon zest and chilli. Cook for 2-3 minutes until onion slightly browned.
  • 2.Add green beans and cook for another 3-4 minutes, tossing. Season with salt then remove from heat and serve with toasted sesame seeds.
